British Kodály Academy
The British Kodály Academy is a registered charity working for the improvement of music education in the UK, and since 1983 has been running training courses inspired by the philosophy of Zoltán Kodály.

 

The Federation of Music Services
The FMS was set up in 1996 to offer information, advice and expertise to Music Services. Currently it represents 147 Music Services.
 
National Association of Music Educators
NAME exists to support its members by providing a national voice for music education; offering a forum for professional exchange through local, national and regional events.

The Music Education council is the umbrella body for all organisations connected with music education in the UK. It exists to bring together those organisations and provide a forum for discussion.

The Music Manifesto’s National Singing Programme, introduced in 2007 to help support the development of singing for primary school-aged children in England.

MusicLearningLive! 2009
A dynamic national two-day professional development event and festival of music education, presented by Zone Music Education at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester on 5-6 March 2009. Keynote speakers include Richard Hallam MBE, National Music Participation Director and Katherine Zeserson, Director of Learning and Participation at The Sage Gateshead; there will also be plenty of practical workshop sessions and performances from a wealth of contributors during the event.

National Association of Choirs
An organisation of over 500 choirs bonded together by a love of performing choral music in a wide variety of styles, which was formed in 1920 to provide support and services to its members.

 

TONSIL
The ONgoing SInging Liaison group is an informal association whose function is to serve its 14 member choral organisations and to act as forum for national and international vocal education and practice. Its mission is to unite in enhancing the profile, value and influence of singing in the UK.
