Programme accreditation through Edge Hill University
Edge Hill University, the largest teacher training institution in the country, has recognised the value of the training which our in-school programme delivers - and we have now agreed an accreditation arrangement with the University which allows all those with QTS in schools taking our one-year programme to gain further professional qualifications if they so choose.
In essence, teachers who have participated in our One-Year programme will be eligible for 30 credits at Level 6 (honours degree level) in music education. These credits count as a gateway module into professional development through Edge Hill at Masters Level, and can trigger a process of studying any other two modules free of charge, which could eventually lead to an MA in Education.
Further information and contact details at Edge Hill's Faculty of Education for enquiries can be downloaded here (PDF).
Full details about the partnership, and a video case study featuring one of our programme schools, can be found in the Sounding Edge section of Edge Hill's website (please note: clicking directly on the link below will navigate you away from our site - to open the link in a new tab or window, right-click and choose your preferred option)
